Check your I2P Services List

Click on the I2P Console I2PTunnels link to view and stop unneeded services

Disable unneeded services at Startup (Step 1)

Edit the \Program Files\i2p\i2ptunnel.config file

Disable unneeded services at Startup (Step 2)

Set startOnLoad to "false"

Consider running behind a firewall

I2P relies on non-fire walled nodes to act as "introducers". However, if you need maximum security, you can operate behind a firewall and allow the "introducers" to assist with inbound connections. You can find this setting under the "Configuration" link.

Your Own eepSite

If you choose to run your own eepSite, please note that I2P provides anonymity – not necessarily secrecy or privacy. If you want a secret or private eepsite:
1) Don't publish in hosts.txt.
2) Secure the site using standard (.htaccess, whatever) protection mechanisms.
